    Hi,

I am (very) new to this forum and (very) new to printing. I currently do sublimation printing but have recently acquired a Mimaki CJV30-100 and I don’t really know anything about it. It is being serviced tomorrow as it has been sat around for a few months but I am looking for someone to show me briefly how to use it. Just the basics. My office is based near Telford, Shropshire and I hope someone can help :-/

I can probably tell you all the information you need to know for free if it’s done on the public forum. Otherwise, there are various engineers around that you can pay to visit you.

    Hi Stafford,

Thank you for your reply. There doesn’t seem to be anyone in my area that can visit. I did receive a quote but when you are paying door to door from a fair distance away it becomes very expensive. It would be nice to be shown in person simply because I have never used the machine before and I think it would be helpful for someone to get it in the starting position and show me how to set the rollers etc.. as per different materials. I am browsing the forum now for any information aswell. I don’t really know where to start :yikes:

Sorry, my last post was amended as it contained potential contact information (sorry mods).

Most of the nationwide support companies will offer a day or half day rate so it should cost the same price if you’re in Eastbourne or Edinburgh. Here’s a link to the operation manual which should give you a head start:

I can snswer any other specific questions you have too if you post them on here.

I hope that’s of some help.
