    New year resolution I thought:

"I’ll sort out my knees this year as they have been giving me a bit of jip"

Yesterday went to see a specialist ….."Does this hurt"….x rays etc….an operation this Thursday on both knees….jeez that’s one resolution sorted quickly 😕 😕

Losing weight or giving up smoking / drinking is a bit less extreme 😮

    Hope the op goes smoothly.

:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: do you do "anything" in halves andrew? :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: as john says, good luck with the op… hope this one want have you off work as long as the hand? 😕

mine is not to diet as such, because i dont eat much at all. but what i do eat is pure junk/crap. I also drink far too much Irn-bru… so im sticking to water and eating healthier.

I also plan going back to the gym. This isnt something i find hard because i actually enjoy going and knocking my pan in. :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: its just dragging myself away from work that is my downfall… so anyway… i spend enough time in front of computers so a couple of hours 3-4 nights a week isnt going to hurt.

i know that’s the same old same old resolution but i am pretty adamant ill do it. 😀

Well, I’m felling pretty pleased with myself. Last year’s resolution of having one holiday per month was successful. In fact I got in thirteen breaks in the twelve months.

I shan’t do that again this year though, so I’ve got no actual resolutions to keep. 😀

Best of luck with the op Andrew.

Wow Andrew! Good luck with that.
I am still watching my food intake since last January.
I did lose 22 pounds but fear I’ve gained some back this past little while.
Still trying to drink lots of water (which I hate)
But my New Year’s Resolution is kind of dull.
I’ve meant to do it for at least 3 years or more:
    Rent a dumpster.
Clean out the attic, cellar, and garage.
    Love….Jill

    Cheers

    I’ve got loads this year:

    sort knees
    keep fit
    work hard
    drink and eat properly
    make less mistakes
    charge more
    take more breaks
    fix the chimney

    don’t make too many commitments
    😀

Wow Andrew. I’ve had a knee op, the wife is having one this year too. Its unusual they’ll do two at the same time, or is your Dr offering a discount of something….

6 to 8 weeks before you’ll be back on deck full steam… good chance to work on the other resolutions anyway :lol1:

    all the best mate

Good luck Andrew, hope you recover quickly from the op.

No resolutions for me really ………. I’ve got enough on my plate to be getting on with. But the only thing I really hope to stick to is that I must try and keep my stress levels down if I can and to take it each day as it comes and try and have a positive outlook.

……… oh and to get a pic of George Elsewhere in his white speedos! 😉 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

    I’m intrigued now.

Do you have many chimney thefts up there then? We’ve got loads down here, come and help yourselves, no steel fences around them either!

    p.s. – any pictures?
