New Velodrome is a scream
Saturday was a dream day for me and the missus taking a front row at the new Velodrome
It was great seeing Sir Chris Hoy take Gold and the other great riders Pendleton, Swift, Trott and Rowsell doing their bit
Some fantastic racingthat track is soooooooooooper fast
the crowds were great -

not really my choice of sport but started watching .
couldn’t switch off. looked like a fantastic atmosphere and all concerned were full of praise for the venue .felt sorry for the old fella on his moped just as it got going he broke down .every time probably a dirty air filter or an intermittent fuel block .

I watched bits too. Have always liked the various events and would love to get some tickets to see some of the olympic events there.

yeah! The ol’ fella on the lead bike was great
It looked really odd seeing all the pro riders on their super bikes following some ol geezer on what looked like a gloried moped
That moped was fast as well
The temperature inside the Velodrome was 26 Centigrade
It felt like we were at the beach. we had to get liquid refreshments because we were dehydrating
they purposely keep it at that temperature for the riders
