Careful mate, could ruin Christmas day if the holes are too high or too low. I’ve offered one to the wife & she’s turned her nose up. Suppose she’ll have to make do with the usual Christmas presents like bread & milk. Ungrateful if you ask me

I shudder to think what Santas Trousers look like! 🤨 😳
Look mate, due to covid, times are very uncertain at the moment, take Any jobs you can get! But draw a line if they ask you to try your products on.🤣🤣🤣

Very interesting “winter” clothing Kevin. as the Christmas song goes, “it’s cold outside”. 😳🤣
I didn’t know a laser could cut cloth. i would have thought it would go on fire? 🤔

I am guessing this sort of thing isn’t common. is this an operators fault or a product you must oversee/monitor working?
I hope you have some sort of cover? 🤨-
I’d put it down to an unsuitable product Robert. We were cutting 3mm acrylic and had ran out of the Orcal P.E.T double sided tape we normally use. Instead we used a tape that had a paper rather than plastic backing. We looked in when the job had finished and everything seemed OK. Unknown to us the paper backing tape was smouldering underneath and finally caught fire. We discovered flames shooting out of it around 10 minutes later, our view was obscured by a ice cream van we were working on or we’d have caught it sooner. The real scary part was it happened around 5pm, had it been 5.30pm we’d have been away home and the whole building could possibly have burnt down 🙁 Severe lesson learnt that day. Like Kevin mentioned “turn your back on a laser at your peril”!!!

Never done any fabric on it before Leslie, a customer asked if it was possible so gave it a go, had a few glowing embers but no dramas. His wife is currently breastfeeding so this was a joke/time & motion study. I’ve sent her a message saying if she’s selling those puppies, I’ll have the one with the pink nose. So far, no response

Laser cutters do ignite the material quite regularly but a pause in the cut & it usually self extinguishes, walk away from them at your peril!
