Well the cameo silhouette has got me started off, but obviously isnt upto using as a full time machine, so looking to upgrade.

my knowledge is pretty much zero so looking for sum kind wee person to point me in the direction of a decent cutter to help me progress.

budget around £1500 but not set in stone.

    🙂 ta much

well I love my Graphtec 5000-60 and with your budget you would probably manage the new version 6000-60 and be very happy with it. Ive not seen any real bad comments about them mostly they are well praised. If your not looking for new then that budget could get you a 5000-120 for larger jobs but I’ve not found much Ive been stuck with at 610mm.

Sure you will get lots of other opinions but ultimately stick with one of the bigger names if your needing something to do serious work.

Graphtec, Roland or Summa for me…

Ive always used Roland and Graphtec, but used a Summa for a week a few months ago and it was very good and easy to operate. always hear good reports on summa too…

anyway, been using roland and graphtec at least 17 years now i think. before that it was Gerber 4B… :lol1:

Just bought a Graphtec ce5000-60 myself…love it. It was between the Graphtec or the Roland gx24 but I fancied trying Graphtec as I used to have a Roland sp 300 print & cut
