cheers Neil, she’s a diamond, she was just asleep doing the grand national and yelping across the floor, i disturbed her when getting the camera!

as for the ospreys shirt, i’ve got one or three! about 5 at last count, 6 if you count the black ‘swansea neath ospreys’ shirt! was hoping my boy would get me the new home kit for my birthday last week but it looks like i’m gonna have to buy it myself! i’ve more rugby shirts than anything else hanging in the wardrobe!

Mum is gonna knit Molly a doggy coat in my local club colours for the upcoming winter match days!

She’s a really pretty dog and looks like she’s laid back, which is a nice quality for a dog to have.
    Love….Jill

Cheers guys, she’s a real diamond but can go from super chilled to bouncy 8st puppy in a flash!

It’s most definitely like having a new small (big) person in the house, I awoke 20mins ago to the most painfully sorry pining with a little howl in there too. 8st of excited puppy is certainly a handful at 4;30am! She’s just settling on her duvet at the bottom of the stairs now, still a little piney, I can hear her.

I guess it’s To be expected as she’s gone from a familiar straw covered barn with her family pack, to a strange house where the new pack don’t sleep with her, a little unsettling for anyone expect. I did put her bed on the floor in here for a bit but she kept pacing about looking – one presumes- for her pack.

I’m gonna have to get a stair gate I think, she’s ok going up but very ungainly going down! I gave her a large stuffed horse toy before bed, thinking it might settle her a bit to have something large beside her but I had to retrieve it- it was chew it to bits time – at first sight!!

Still, must try n get a bit of sleep now, 1st walk in a couple of hours, for a dog that dislikes collars and leads, it’ll be interesting!

How can a dog poop so much? I had anticipated big poop and bought some XL strong poop bags, I’d even anticipated the occasional accident until she gets used to being let out, I had not anticipated Armageddon!!

just ten mins after my last post the nose burning smell totally ignored the impregnable barrier of my bedroom door, as did the whimper that turned to an ‘oh woe is me" howl. Full of trepidation I stepped carefully down – once big waggy puppy had allowed me past the rendezvous point on the stairs, as I rounded the corner the smell was making the inside of my head itch, two steps to go – stairs clear- I looked left on the hallway vinyl and there it was, oh boy! It warranted a third trip into the garden, the first two were an hour ago, thinking she may need to go loo, this time was to get a spade!!

The upstairs windows are all open, though my head still itches and sinuses are objecting profusely, hopefully half hour sleep now before the rugby! Downstairs smells nice again and -dare I say it- Molly has settled- sleeping on my flip flops and hopefully not eating them!

Lesson? howling may well mean poo but- I’ll have to stand outside at 4am for longer next time!

    Head thumping!!! Night!

We have the same problem with Warren mate. Only his poo is in a package so not so bad. Still as noisy though! 😀 😀

:lol1: :lol1: i think the fact you have a dog the size of a horse might be part blame mate. Ide imagine it resembles cow dung more rather than rabbit pellets. 😕 :lol1:

big wasn’t half the problem, the smell was just beyond awful, it was genuinely bad, and two scoops of a spade!

I’m going to change her diet to the BARF diet, far more natural and with a friendly butcher its easily affordable. it’ll take time to change over but some of these ‘complete’ foods are full of stuff she doesn’t need in order to bulk it out, with BARF (bone and raw food) they eat less, subsequently poo less, firmer stools, far less smelly, it’s better for the dog too.

Hugh, are we really discussing this mate? 😕 :lol1:

lets just put it down to it had a dodgy curry on Saturday. 😉

as for its diet, fair do, but sh1ts, sh1t… even my two baby girls when born, who were only fed the purest of baby food, stank the bloody house out! :lol1:

a quick fire cheap solution for you and the family. Buy some Pegs! 😉
