Richard don’t have design software on this laptop but an older style font would probably work quite well if it is an oak sign blank.

Well as many of you may know this was not my thing and after talking to some suppliers i ended up using a company i use for some of my digital printing and im very pleased
made form planks of oak 1 inch thick and glued together to make a blank 900mm by 400mm
routed and infilled with black and then varnished

all done by the company only thing i did was set up an ai file and rest was over to them. I did not really want to get involved but i have made another customer and a small profit so its happy days

that looks really good Rich, I bet you and your customer were well pleased, and I guess who ever did it will benefit from more work, as no doubt you will recommend them.

    OK rich,
Personally I would have gone for a matt finish, but I recon to produce and sell for a profit, trade price (a) machine made and spray finished…£140-£170. hand made and hand finished, quite a bit more. only a guess mind..
