    Hi all.
My Summa D60 won’t switch on. I have checked the obvious fuse in the plug and also the smaller fuse near the switch. Both are fine.

Is there any thing else which I can look at?? or is it something major?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

Is it totally dead? How old is it?

Yes its not making a whisper and the display is blank. I have had it before but just changed the fuse.

It’s about 4 years old now.

We are in the process of moving premises so it might appreciate a ride in the van lol 😀

Seriously I don`t have that much time to take a look at it now but just wondered if there was anything obvious I should be looking at.

    Cheers

If your competent Gary check and see if you are getting mains to the power supply. If that’s all OK it sounds like the power supply is dead or possibly just one output maybe just the 5Volts.

If you find this to be the case give me a nudge as I have a decent co who most likely can repair the supply at very good prices with great service.

On the back of the switch check to see if the wire is connected to the switch. It should just be a slide in connection. If it looks ok still disconnect it and then reconnect. The vibration of the machine can cause these to come undone or to result in a poor connection.
    Worth a try. 😉
