MutohValueJet 1324x-banding
Hi hope someone can help me with this.
We’ve been having issues with banding for a while now on greens and greys, we’ve got an engineer in and he is stumped.
1. We’ve tried different profiles
2. Changed heat settings
3. Cleaned everything
4. Changed most parts except the heads but all nozzles print fineWe are running a bulk ink system on original oem inks not third party and are using image perfect print media.

Have you looked at the PF Adjust? It’s where you choose the type X at the start. Make sure you choose the right one and then perform the PF Adjust over the maximum. It might be 500mm or 1000mm. Measure it and type in the actual with accuracy and it will compensate accordingly. It might be that the media is moving slight out of sync with how the printer is printing resulting in banding. If everything else is ok, it’s either the PF Adjust or requires profiling.
