Can you shed some light on materials, temps equipment etc. This could be the mug heater, static, pressure or the carrier paper to name a few. A few details on set up etc would help.

As Peter said, it would help if you stated your equipment, where your mugs are from, paper type, ink type, times & temp.

Not enough heat/time/pressure would be my first guess.
Did you pre heat the mug? how long are you pressing at what temp?

It’s funny you should say that Neil, I was going to give mug printing a go, had some stuff I bought second hand and read up on it. Never got round to doing any but one of the problems I was having was telling which side of the paper I was suppose to print to as they both looked pretty much the same.
