Hi All, I have been asked by a local jewlers to design a new sign for them, What has bouncing around in my head is a white marble backing with some nice moulded letters. which brings me here to ask if anyone knows of a good supplier of moulded lettering. Also if anyone knows of anywhere I could get a diamond about 3ft tall (made out of some sort of acrylic, as I don’t think they can afford a real one that size*LOL*) if any one can point me in some sort of direction that would be great.

    Regards

    Stephen

Maybe some mirror vinyl to reflect the light, as if its glinting with the sunlight?!?

Accent signs get the thumbs up from me too. Martin of Kingdom signs suggested I try them for some moulded lettering I put up last week. I was well impressed with their service and quality and my customer was delighted with the results.

I’ve been using accent for many years now.. Great choice phill…

If you’re wanting something a bit classy why not use a dark marble backing. (Corian) looks very realistic and you can drill etc no problem… fraction of the cost too
You could raise these panels on solid brass locators/studs and show them from the front too… brass dome caps.. Then get flat cut solid brass letters.. Raise those also.. Remember they have to be lacquered to stop corrosion though.
You could have a flat cut crest or established from logo to the side or something..

Keep it simple, but use good materials.. it always helps…

You could use a nice shade of Perspex for a backing and have the letters cut in the marble corian.. have a shamfer on them too.. looks great!

    Hi Stephan

I wonder if using clear or even mirrored acrylic would achieve the desired effect.
Have you considered the use of colour!!
