Any photos? Also, what media. Mottling usually suggests that the prints aren’t quite dry when they go on the take-up, although you can rule this out if not using the take-up.

Sorry, just noticed it’s a latex printer, which we don’t use. Hopefully someone can give you advice. Have you previously printed successfully to this material? Do you have another brand you could try?

Are you sure you are using the correct Drytac Profile?

I have used that material on our latex and never had any problems.

    Hi Paul,

This is just a consideration, this could be plasticiser migration in the face face film. Latex is especially sensitive to this.

Hi Paul is this a new issue? Have you previously printed to this media before without issue?

Update. Thanks for all your advice and suggestions. Having heard your thoughts I thought I’d give the vinyl a wipe with solvent/panel wipe prior to printing to do a before and after test. Sure enough the solvent wiped area printed perfectly. I changed the roll and voila……………problem gone. I’ve since communicated with my supplier and we’ll see where this now goes. Needless to say, the part used roll is now gathering dust awaiting a response. Thank you all
