Motorcycle graphics
Hi
Does anyone know if its possible to buy to files to print and cut complete decal kits for motorcycles? we keep getting guys in here who have had bikes repaired but wont pay £350 for a new set from the main dealer! there must be a market for these kits

the reason the kits are so dear is because the designs an colours change so often, and can also be colour coded to the paintwork. and with materials that may not be available freely.
I done know of any pre-made templates that are available, but if they were would command high prices.
I get asked to do kits but, but they take as so long to measure up and draw, they are only viable to do if no longer available from the manufacturer.Sorry not much help

John I got a disk from someone that made race replica sets for all the top brands, these are the complete kits for the complete range of bikes but only up to around 2005 very good disk, send me a PM and I will see if we can sort something out, this was a collection from another sign company that used to do just race replica stuff so all hand drawn.

I actually bought the Impact H&S and the Library disc newest versions and have to admit that they were OK
but the library disc was pretty disappointing with regards to bike decals just basically a mish mash of vectors, nothing complete as in full decal sets.
how ever it might be worth asking them as i know that they don’t put everything on the disc Re Ray:) -
Isn’t it illegal to use trademarked logos in the UK?

Just saying I know Honda down here actively seek out people who are infringing on their trademarks. Even if its for kits for bikes that are no longer made or they don’t supply the graphics for anymore.
I quite don’t understand the whole control thing especially with things like enthusiasts bikes etc where they are trying to build brand loyalty etc. I know they want to control whats done with their intellectual property but having consumers so dedicated to your brand must be worth a lot more.

A little off topic but as copyright was mentioned. I had a phone call from Manchester United this afternoon asking that I remove a picture of the Manu embroidery I’d posted on my Photobucket hosting site!
