I do lots of bike decals, the KDX had colour faded logos on most of it so you’ll need to print them on a printer/cutter if you’ve got one.

If you find out which year he’s got or wants it redone as, let me know and I’ll check to see if I’ve got the artwork and you can do it yourself – also find out if hes planning to use it off road or for racing, or just as a road bike.

    Cheers Mike 😎
Its the 1991 model, ive got an edge 2 so will be able to colour decals. He uses it mainly for road, but like most bikers tends to take it off road whenever possible.
Is there a difference between decals for road bike and off road !!

    Hi Mike,
I also do lots of decals for bikes (started out by just doing bike related T-shirts) what vinyl do you use for your off road decals?

Most of the stuff I do is for road bikes, either sports bikes or some gold leaf things for choppers – pretty much any decent vinyl is OK for this as its generally lacquered over.

Just thinking if the guy is taking it off road or racing it, you want to clear laminate them so they will stand up to washing better – most original decals the manufacturers put on are pretty thin printed stuff, so will scuff and tear easily if the bike is dropped so I wouldnt worry too much about that.

Frank, send me an email at mike@drfears.co.uk and I can sort out the EPS files for the designs and you can make them up – I actually need someone to do me a couple of colour decals for a race bike as I cant match the vinyl, so we can sort each other out here hopefully.
