😀 😀 Welllllll…….It was offering discounts on rolls of vinyl.
Rolls of a different kind and lets just say it was a windows media file showing a rather larger roll coming out of an unzipped file and 2 ladys playing with the roll. Ok bit of fun but not when my mum is is minding the place and she checks the emails whilst i’m out. 😳 😳 😳

i dont mind trade emails. in fact i welcome them. but in moderation.
it may sound silly but i look forward to the sign mags landing on my desk, i do read them! regardless to which one it is…
same goes for emails… whether its a discounted product, new series of vinyl or genuine news. i still want to know…
not knocking the firm at all here but i think trade signs needs to cut the emails down a bit… 2-3 a week amongst most with 1 a month or bi-monthly and it starts to become a pain. surely you know the deals for the month, stick them all in one email and fire it out. but NOT one email per special offer.

as for APS… i like them as a company seem to do some nice products and never too pushy. never got the email though. 😀

I don’t get many emails from suppliers at all but that is probably because I have only recently started working again and I won’t be registered with a lot of the suppliers.

Haven’t had any emails from APS and from what Karl was saying I don’t want any either.

Got the mail Karl, but no zip file.

1 PNG & 1 WMZ file both of which were fine.

WMZ is just a compressed metafile. You can copy it and open word and paste the contents, ie APS list of over stocked items.

You sure what you had was a ZIP file?

    Tim.

I know what you say Rob. They are pretty good here though. usually only 1 a month.

I’ve tried to do my news letter monthly too, at regular time. I used to do them monthly, but at different times, so one may have been a few weeks apart, others a fair time apart.

Got a few complaints as a result, so now I send them out the first week of each month, and people seem happier. No complaints anyway.

I look at every email though, never know what is coming thru at a good price that may be worth a try.
