It’s certainly impressive! I prefer the white, personally 🙂
-
Yeah I liked the white wrap nick but it just came across as a white van so went for something to get me noticed and its working, I’ve got a couple of wraps from the van alone so its doing its job.

Well, can’t argue with that Sean. Excellent work mate 😉
I’m doing a wrap course soon, so will be using my work van (Connect) as a guinea pig!!

Thanks nick I know it’s not to everyone’s taste but I know for sure its defiantly getting noticed, for me that is what a business van is for and I’m tired of seeing the same boring vans driving about, this is the point I’m trying to put to customer’s that anything is possible.

I like it just fine (I hate wraps usually) would have liked to see a thicker outline on your name/subcopy.
But maybe you were trying to make it blend in?
Either way though it looks better than a lot of the hideous things I see on the streets here.
Love….Jill -
love it…. 😀 have to agree with jill on the font choice and layout I would leave it out? people would eventually know who you were 😀

think it looks great..
But, I can’t help myself being a tinter, totally illegal front windows.
-
your van looks great Sean, I like that mate… has its own character, originality and smart too.
I could be wrong but i am guessing jill is correct in that you may want the text to merge with the overall pattern/design like a chameleon would?
only distinctable when the reflective white of the text is caught… (or am i sadly looking too far into it and completely wrong) :lol1:
over all i think its very good and i like the use of the graffiti walls and ally-way as the backdrop to the pictures. works very well…constructive crit:
only thing i dont like about it is probably the font used in "Chameleon" its traditional were as the secondary text is modern. anyway, that’s just my self preference, doesn’t mean its wrong.thanks for taking the time to load your pictures Sean, great to see mate.

Interesting, like to see someone not modifying a caddy and going down the facelift route (touran etc)
Although, is the bumper a painted one or ABS?
If ABS what wrap did you use and how well is it holding up?
-
Thanks again for the comments the text was a bit of a head ache as I wanted it to arch and the fonts i looked at just didn’t work, maybe I could of took a bit more time to go through the fonts but time wasn’t really on my side but I like the old and the new together and the chameleon effect was what I was looking for.
The bumpers are ABS they where sanded down and primed was about a days work and now the vinyl holds very well,
This is one I started today still got a bit to do. Sorry for the poor quality photos
mod-edit Please use the upload facilities provided

Well urban on the van as said about the fonts.
The transit I like so far and have tried before but could not get the art work right any tips please -
Thanks Chris not to sure what tips to give you I just think outside the box try make things that you don’t see that often a reality as long as the artwork is the finest quality you can’t really go wrong, I’ve been freelance for the last 5 years so Ive kinda seen it all wrap wise but hopefully I can put a bit of my own work there now its just doing the business side to things I need to get to grips with but I’m getting there I hope 🙂

funnily enough that the first thing i thought too..
I love it tho 🙂
I want to do something daft with the works van…
totally out the box…
As you say.. it stands out, people take note and ask questions 🙂

The more I look at that it was probably me fighting with poor pics. Did. you add perspective to the rear one .
Thanks
-
No Chris its just the image I choose Ive always liked this effect on the back door it looks even better from a distance as for the tint I’ve not had any problems so far it was some material my mate had so he went ahead and done the windows I never thought to ask if they where legal and he never said, if I get get a pull ill strip em.
-
Sorry Chris yeah I did for the caddy van I just put the two together sorry I thought you was meaning the transit van.
-
Chris
What do you mean by adding perspective?
Sean
Do you never print he wording into the wrap?
-
He means adding depth to the image Chris, I printed the black on the caddy van then added reflective but not on the transit quite large panels so didn’t want to stretch any text just in case, if the image ran off then its not a big deal as you add the text separate.
