Our Gerber Fastrack 1300, has been acting weird since last year when it chewed up some vinyl.
For some reason it will only cut the width of it’s baby brother the Fastrack 650. I had two engineers come out and look at it. both scratched their heads and charged me for the privelege of a call out. I’ve been muddling along with it cutting 610mm wide sheets, because thankfully I don’t do that many large jobs.

Was just wondering if anyone had heard of problems like this before??

Is the Fastrack a rebadged Mutoh? if so maybe look to Mutoh for help. Just a thought – if you slide the pinch rollers to accommodate different widths of vinyl is there a micro switch or magic eye that could be damaged? just guessing.

Brushman is right it’s a rebadged Mutoh, give Mutoh a try. Also you could try Alan & Flynn Signs 01992 630318, he has a lot of dealings with Mutoh & his own engineer, sounds like it’s probably something simple.

What made you pay for call out when they left you without a fix??! 😮
