i am having a go at dye sublimation. I use an epson 950 and haven ‘t managed to find a mirror print function on the driver itself…I tried reversing it horizontally in photoshop and then printing it but even on the print preview window the image is turned again (no mirror). Did the same with corel (Corel does have a mirror function) but when print&preview window is on the image is reversed back to normal.
Has anyone done that ? What am I doing wrong ?

In Corel – have your image display correctly and ONLY mirror it in print preview window. Did your dyesub inks come with any colour correction software if so check for mirror function there.

Set your image in whatever application, corel, photoshop etc. without mirror, then click print, printer properties, click custom & this brings up advanced. Clickon advanced. Here you can check the box for flip horizontal, set the dpi etc. You can ok it & check with a print, or you can save the setting if the printer is dedcated to sublimation, like mine:-)

    Best wishes

you are right I did have it all set up as Rotech ‘s site recommendations and that is why I did not need anything else. The way I did it I was doing mirroring twice so it went back normal…
    Thank you for your help…
Did my first tests today and although not perfect alignment the image quality is really great. (I did check previous posts on the board) ended up on 200 Celsius for 3 mins…using rotech inks and jewel paper from rotech.

What substrate are you pressing, I’m wondering about the 3 minutes?
