Mimaki SUV or Latex? Opinions please.
Have a Roland 540 looking for either Mimaki SUV or Latex to compliment any comments appreciated.

Sounds good! To be able to give a decent answer I suppose it depends what you’re planning to do with it? Do you have any ideas yet?

Have the usual drying gassing issues, don’t want a direct replacement as Roland still a good work horse just need another string to our bow as it were. White ink appeals on the latex but not sure

What are you main applications / what is it you want to add to what you offer with the new machine?
Ultimately you will get the same end results on both machines, so you may not necessarily be ‘adding to the bow’ of what you can offer. If you have high demand from customers on fast turnaround time then it may be worth having a conversation about adding the Mimaki SUV.
Alternatively there are a lot of unique applications you can supply with the small format flat beds.

i have the SUV now for about 4-5 months and it is a great machine, so fast and straight off the be finished, i was guided to the suv from the latex as was told the latex colours not quite as good.
