It looks like i may have to change the cyan/yellow print head on my mimaki JV3-160s, the question i have is about inputting the head ID number/ ranking.

    My new head ID is

    70V3837
    TVTWVUS
    S . . . . .
    . . . . . . .
    00 . . E

I have a tech manual but its not to clear about what exactly i should enter, is it just the numbers or everything, letters including the dots ?
If it is everything how do i get to enter the letters and dots ?

Also i would be grateful if there is any other pit-full i should be aware of

    Thanks in advance

make a note of the old head id for records 😉

that number gets put in #adjust – headid area

the dots dont come into it… just keep typing and pressing enter when entering the ID

make sure u get the damn head perfectly square on, saves a lot of time.

after that you got the confusing alignment process
