    Hi,

After 4 years use I recently replaced all 4 cap tops on my JV3 sp2 with items from Digiprint….

The seal does not seem good ( not great pressure when syringing and I can hear air being drawn in on 1 head)…….anyone else had issues with these?
Is there a better replacement on sale elsewhere?

    Thanks

    John

just bought 6 from you now where £6 each and look the part in every way but can’t help thinking the sealing rubber may be a little hard for the light sealing pressure.
when i get round to fitting one i will find out

OE ones are still one hell of a price

just had a look for one for the VS notice that didgiprint do there own make half price ???

Have you checked the capping position in service mode ‘#adjust/capping’?

Also, did you buy 4 compatible ‘cap tops’ or did you buy a JV3SP capping station? I only ever use genuine stations for JV3’s and cap tops for Rolands.

4 compatible cap tops……..they did not have a full capping station in stock.

service more #adjust /capping?……..how and what adjustments can be made?

    Many thanks

    Thanks Stafford,

I have adjusted the capping station position via the function/#adjust /capping

My guess is the rubber seal on the compatible cap tops is slightly shorter than originals.

I will keep a close eye on it.

    Many thanks again.

Hi John. Sorry, I only just noticed this reply. I take it you’re sorted now then 🙂 Let me know if you’re stuck with anything.
