I have been given a microsoft visio file to print for a customer – can anyone convert this to a format I can put to my troop rip (e.g pdf).

I’ve never heard of visio before today.

Just discovered , the file extension is .vsd which is not recognised on here .

    Any suggestions 😕

OK – I’ve managed to zip it up (along with a low res pdf of the file that I managed to create myself – the pdf included here is no good to use as the resolution is very poor. I need to print this off at 610mm x 840mm

    Hi Phil,

You can download a trial copy of Visio here

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/visio/default.aspx

Should be able to open the drawing then print to pdf. Visio as i remember it is vector based so resolution shouldn’t be a problem.

I used to use it for network and topology drawing in a previous life. No longer have it installed or i’d of converted the file for you.

    Hope this helps
