I have a good customer that wants me to put some of their logos and graphics on to a disk so that they can use it themselves to make up promotional posters and fliers.
The only software that they have and understand how to use (to some degree) is either Microsoft word or Microsoft Publisher. Can anyone suggest the best file format to save for these programs. I had saved them at a reasonable size as a jpeg as I thought that would be best but I have been told that they don’t look very good on the page because they are pixelated. The customer actually said that the edges looked very jaggy.

word will import PDFs as I think will Publisher, make sure you save at a4 size though, as that is usually the default setting for word, and the client will not need to set psge size etc,

if you cant save as pdf, pop me the file over and I will convert to word or publisher

Thanks Peter, I can save as PDF so will give that a try, when you say save at A4 size you mean so the Logo just fits on an A4 sheet and then needs to be made smaller ?
Think one of the problems with the JPEG’s was that I made them to small to start with and I am pretty sure they have enlarged them to suit what they are doing.

the size you save at is not a problem, but most "experts" with word
have a default a4 page size and if the image you saved was larger, may not know how to view the file as seen off the page, just to save them calling you and saying you didnt send the full picture!

Cheers Peter, will give that a go tomorrow, have to admit that I don’t use word a lot and when I do it is just for writing letters so I have no idea how it works with pictures and what file formats it supports.
Haven’t even got it installed on this machine so couldn’t even have a quick look to see 😳

For Word I export from Corel as wmf, this will ‘insert’ into Word and can be resized with no loss of quality. Not sure about Publisher I try and stay well clear of it.
