Metascape Crystal Etch Issues
:bangshead: We apply lots of Metascape crystal etch, always dry and normally no issue however we had a recent batch of complaints about the silvery bubble/blistering type of effect that is appearing underneath the vinyl when viewed in certain lights, this isn’t trapped air and can’t be squeegeed out. Also any suggestions regarding squeegee marks we use a felt squeegee but it seems to mark very easily.
Any suggestions what is causing this the blistering effect, will it go over time?

Hi Jason,
We also install loads of this and also dry but never have any problems, usually any marks that appear with dry apply always disappear within a week and we’ve never had to go back to one.
I find metamark relatively honest if you speak with your local rep, if they’ve had problems with batches they would usually admit to it so may be worth a try.
