Metamark packaging, full rolls not taped properly?
Morning all.
Does anyone have this problem or is it only me?
9 full rolls ordered from Metamark, 6 arrived opened.
Why? Because 1 singles tape doesn’t hold 21kg vinyl roll. This is stupid problem to have and I write to them about it many times. They have been so ignorant about it.Bellow is a example how another supplier is taping their boxes.

I’ve had to pul them up on it before. Not just them though, have had the same with £300 or wrap from hexis, and worst was £800 worth / 22.5m of 3M scotchlite 780c reflective vinyl which was just rolling about in a big box with no core holders and not even a plastic bag around it!! luckily no damage but still!!
Am always getting boxes with smashed plastic ends where either warehouse or courier companies drop them on the ends, have explained to a couple of drivers that there’s £500 of vinyl in that box and they claim it was loaded like that.

“could you please give us more time to prepare your order”
What are you going to do wrap the box and put glitter on?![emoji35]

The boxes just aren’t up to the job….and a single strip of tape at the end is pathetic.
The Orafol boxes are the best as in your pic, All boxes carrying such expensive media should be like this.
To give them more notice is the lamest excuse Iv’e ever heard…

Hate receiving rolls of vinyl like this. Sometimes by the time I’ve opened to check it’s not damaged.. The fricking delivery guy is gone 🙁 Poor packaging
