Metamark MetaScape Frost – will application marks go away after few days?
Posted by Pane Talev on March 26, 2019 at 9:16 amGood day all,
Metamark MetaScape Frost – will application marks go away after few days?
Looks very bad. I’m not happy to finish a job like this and the client looks at this finish…regardless of: will look ok in few days.
What fo others think of MetaScape Frost?
I can only think of using this vinyl if a water application is not an option.

Used it a few times. They do go. I still have the Mutoh you sold me btw. Still going strong

We use it week in week out, They will definitely go away. Sometimes can take up to 2 weeks depending if sun is hitting the glass they are on etc but don’t worry about it.

its embarrassing to use with a new client telling them it will go away in time. Not good enough. Have ripped it off and used the normal frost after and happy client.

Its awful stuff, i would only ever use it out of sheer desperation, which in fact would be never.
bubble free frost is IMO is the worst variant of self adhesive vinyl there is  -

This product make me look bad so I will not use it again.
I will only use this MetaScape frost where using water application is not an option. -
To give a little balance I’ve used hundreds of metres of metascape frosting to great effect. One job would have been very challenging without its use….
Though I agree with the above, if the option is there for wet applying then I would do the same

Used Avery frosting with air escape before. Can’t say I noticed any bad marks though.
I would say the colour wasn’t as nice. Was a bit white which is why I have not used it again.

What’s everyone using now for there standard frost?? Used to love the bullet proof Multiflix frost was brilliant never got one in as happy with since. Agree the air release Metamark stuff is horrible stuff.

+1 for the Avery Crystal especially if plotter cut designs in it. I’ve tried Aslan Easy Apply & whilst it is indeed easy to apply, you can always see the grid pattern off the escape channels on the back & if plotter cut I feel any sharp or fine points would not adhere well enough & be prone to lifting when customers clean windows!!

We use Grafityp silver and mactac dusted – both excellent to work with
