Twas the night before Christmas,
He lived all alone,
in a one bedroomed house made of
plaster & stone.

I had come down the chimney,
with presents to give,
And to see just who,
In this home did live.

I looked all around,
A strange sight did I see,
There was vinyl and paint,
Covering the Christmas tree.

The stocking on the mantle,
Had a note stuck on,
“Don’t bring me a VersaCamm
I’ve heard they’re no fun!”.

On the wall hung a picture,
It looked kind of strange,
Signed by Phill from Right Sign
“My home on the range”.

Another picture was there,
It was printed all wierd,
A Tasmanian fellow,
With a cap and a beard.

In the corner a joke book,
With Alphasigns John on the back,
“How to bring laughter,
And have a good crack”.

I could see a computer,
With a seat worn thin,
Logged onto UKsignboards
Where this gent often signs in.

I was shocked by its content,
So I sat down to see,
The posts about Christmas,
But not a one about me.

There was a post about Biggles,
Another about printing,
A demo with weeding,
And even some window tinting?

I realised at last,
Whose home I’d found,
This guy makes signs,
Some of the best around.

So I shoved all the presents,
Right under the tree,
Left a message on top,
So he’d know they’re from me.

Before I got going,
A thought came to play,
I could do with some pinstriping,
Done on my sleigh.

I posted a message,
On the boards a request,
“Can you fit in a sleigh,
Next week would be best.”

Then I pondered a little,
Whether I’d get any replies,
So I added some more,
“Merry Christmas you guys!” (xmas)
