In the past I’ve allready did a shop in Ostend called ‘merkwaardig’.

Now some investors decided to open one in Roeselare, same name, same concept, same logo, same products…

They did however wanted a new look, colour green had to stay because of the recycled products the are selling.
I went immediatly for black and white, when I knew the interior was allmost completly white.

    Outside :
computer cut Dibond panel, painted black (delivered white instead of black) with backlight. White plexipanel with green translucent star.

Applied also a black band on the bottom of every window. Used 3M series 50, applied wet

Client logo in 3 colours, positioned not in center but at left side to create a more attractive look used 3M series 50

    Inside :
Has advised the client to add some lettering on the arc, to create dept in the interior and added also some foam lettering on the wall, like I did for the other shop.
The green foam star was painted so that green colour matched the green paint used on the inside.

If I had more time I would painted the green lettering on the arc also with green paint, so this is not the same colour, and disturbs me.

Looks great Tim, well done as always mate.
i really like the overall entrance look/feel to it, in that evening shot.

    just an idea…
I wonder if the logo on the glass would have been better if it was done exactly as you have it. but the letters cut out from the black. then the entire rear of the panel covered in a white translucent film.
this would give the same look during the day but in the evening, the shop window lighting would illuminate the text on the window graphics, similar to the dibond cut one in the doorway.

thank you for taking the time to load your work Tim, much appreciated mate.
