    Hi All

Just finished a marathon couple of days, including all last night, wrapping this truck. The orange vinyl was all Oracal 970 (selected for the colour) – lovely stuff to work with. The windows are home made Contravision as per recent topic.

To be honest this has nearly killed us turning it around for collection this morning – completly under estimated how long it would take.

    Cheers
    Macky

Great work – always satisfying seeing something like that 😀 How would you calculate hours differently for the next one?

I looked because I like all things KTM…but have to say that looks first class, thanks for sharing.

    Hi Mark
It was the cab and pod that was the problem, it took twice as long than anticipated. We’ve wrapped quite a few cabs but this specific grille/bumper/steps combination just looked easier. But at least I know how much extra to charge for that model next time!

    Hi Glenn
They were very happy, picked it up and drove straight off to their next race this weekend, think there is a bit of getting one over on the trucks of the other teams

    Cheers

Looking good David, hope you remembered to put your contact details on it so all the other teams know where to go to have there trucks done :lol1:

If it’s a one upmanship thing with the teams you could end up doing loads of these and then starting again on the ones you have already done :lol1: :lol1:

Just a shame that Proppa.com went bump!! Good excuse to replace with BOOST (now main sponsor) wrap.

Amazing Job David, I know something like this is such a relief once its all finished……quite exhausting in not only the manufacture and fitting
its amazing how much rubbish something like this generates tooand that needs picking up and disposing of

    Hi

Thanks for the extra comments, he rang me asking how to remove the sponsor graphics so I’d heard they’d gone. The actual race team is still going strong though and hopefully we’ll help him with more sponsor logos in the future.

Cheryl you are right about the waste – I reckon 3 of those large square bins were filled and that’s with getting in the bin to jump and squash it down!

    Cheers
    Ian, sorry Dave
