Match needed for 3M 85 series matt black
We have 2 vehicles to do that have been accident damaged and are currently wrapped with 3M 85 series matt black, we need 3 metres for one vehicle and 2 metres for the other vehicle, does anyone have any of this product left that they would like to sell?
Alternatively does anyone know of another vinyl that is a good match for it colour and finish wise? (I know asking a lot)
So far have tried the following but none come close:
New 3M range
Hexis (both matt blacks)
APA
KPMF
RitramaDoes anyone know if Avery or any other manufacturer have one thats close to the 85 series?
Customer is not particularly bothered as to it being an exact match but we want to do best job possible of course.

Hi mate, Avery do a supreme wrapping vinyl in matt black I tried for weeks to get a sample but it was taking so long my customer went for the APA matt black.
We too had the exact same problem on a matt black golf we did in the controltac. The new 3M 1080series didn’t come close in the matt match (although still an amazing vinyl).
We repaired 1 full side a rear bumper and a door it’s fine and can only be noticed if you look for it and in certain kinds of light. The customer was happy with it.
You may want to try Andy Gamble he might have some left but it’s like gold dust.
Got a call the other night the golf has been keyed on the bonnet and side :0( more work to redo.

Have just secured 3 metres of the matt black 85 series (thanks Dave) so now only need 2 metres, does anyone have a roll end kicking about that they would like to turn into cash?
