The trip went great. It was a much needed break from work. No television or computer for 9 days was great. I did catch a little news on my Dads’ new satellite radio one morning and heard about what happened in London. I haven’t had a chance to read up on things on here yet so just let me say I hope everyone and their loved ones is safe and sound. Back to work tomorrow for me. 😥

Carrie, I posted a quick one up for ya to show off my new mexi-mustache. I didn’t bring a razor with me and I think I might keep the new addition to my upper lip for a couple of days. Everyone hates it so it makes me want to keep it more. :lol1:

Welcome back mate. I was only thinking about you yesterday mate. Foer some reason I thought you were away for a week not 9 days.

I like tho mo mate, a tad jealous tho coz eveytime I want to grow one, I get to day 3 and want to rip my face off. Usually last to day 4 before I run for the razor.

Glad you had a good time.

I’ll have a break soon, babysitting the wife in a fortnight while she recovers from surgery, but not really the break I was looking for tho 😥 I’d rather go to mexico!

I wasn’t able to bring Shadow. He stayed at the very fancy Oceanside Pet Hotel. 😀
Needless to say, he was extremely happy when I picked him up yesterday.
Shane, I hope all goes well with the misses. I don’t know if you have posted up somewhere else what she is having done, but good luck.
Marcella, I have never been to mainland Mexico. My Dad has a house in Baja in a small town called La Bocana. It’s really nice…no tourists…well except me of course. 😎
No pictures yet, I think my Dad is still recovering from driving 13 hours on Sunday. 😮

I played a lot of cards and dominoes with my family to pass the time. It was kind of nice. My 12 year old niece was about to lose it. Luckily my Dad has a dvd player in his truck so anytime we went anywhere she was watching a movie.

as long as you don’t drink the tap water everything is okay. My Mom got it bad one trip in the ’80’s. Since then we have all been okay. I brush my teeth with the water but that’s about it. All else is bottled.
If you order margarittas at the bar be warned, they use ice that is usually made from the tap water.
It’s nice to be back, but I can see why my Dad is going to be living down there full-time soon.
I had 60 emails and a stack of work orders on my desk this morning.

Most aussie blokes will drop the female before the beer. 😮 Mind you, the beer starts cold and gets dropped only when warm, but the aussie female is usually hot but becomes cold after being dropped 🙄 Go figure…

One picture is my niece (12) and my girlfriend (21). They wear the same size clothes and shoes and are the same height! Not for long though, my niece must be eating her vegetables, she is growing like my mexi-mustache.
