Whilst our friends in Australia, are suffering from the worst floods in years, we in this country are complaining about a few pot holes caused by the bad weather last month, and demanding an inquiry as to why we haven’t looked after our roads ….

It’s not just a few potholes though Peter – it’s the entire road newtwork that is falling apart – regardless of the fact that motorists contribute billions of pounds in taxes to the economy.

I understand what you’re saying Peter – but lets not make excuses for our inept politicians for failing to provide our country with a reliable infrastructure.

If we had floods like Australia our civilisation would collapse due to incompetent leadership.
