To go along with Steves post about selling business cards etc.. for an extra profit maker, I thought i’d let you in on another little profit maker.

The company is called Supreme and they do Keyrings, Rulers, Coasters, fridge magnets, post it pads etc.. for the trade. They supply you with a very nice sales sample pack and brochurs all for free, all you have to do is sell them with upto 70% profit.

I think supreme are the people that all the large gift companies, BTC, Ellenell etc.. use I have both their catalogues and the pictures are exactly the same as those in the supreme brochures. An you can easily under cut the big boys price and still make a profit. Another advantage is that the big boys only deal with larger orders, the ever popular adview keyring for example, you can order as little as needed (there is a £25.00 surcharge for less that 250) from supreme. The minimum order with Ellenell is 500. You can also buy a minimum of 100 blank ones from supreme and print the inserts yourself, for the smaller orders.

It’s a real nice little side line

    (now where’s my commision)

    Hi…

Can anyone please give me advice regarding what paper (if it is paper..) is used for the inserts in the keyrings mentioned by Lorraine and what is the best way to print/cut the circular inserts…

I have a cutter but can I get inkjet paper that can be cut using a cutter.

Question is a bit basic but haven’t done it before so please forgive me….

    thanks,
    Moss.

    Hi Moss
When I used to do the key rings/coasters I used Epson photo qualty ink jet paper (£9.95 per 100 sheets) with Epson inkjet printer, cut using a simple and cheap paper trimmer. Most of the items are square/rectangular.
    Cheers

Account advice:………. Supreme only sell onto companies who specialise in the promotional gifts and incentive markets exclusively.

They are very strictly promotional trade only, anything either way and they will not sell to you……… Account application requires you to FAX your letterhead, make sure it conforms to the above, or they won’t play ball.

We have an account and we definitely don’t fall into either of those categories[/quote]

i thought that’s what our trade was all about (advertising & promotional products)? if you want to be bothered with all the smaller promo. items good luck to you!! but the word ‘print’ i think covers it all!! 😀

I am only passing on what the company told me today when I made enquiries. I thought it a bit strange, when I know of many others already with accounts, ……. perhaps this is their new policy ? Who knows.
