I have to make a sign that fits on the front of a machine that the surface gets fairly hot. Not hot enough to burn you but hot enough to give you a shock if you hadn’t expected it. I cant screw a sign to the front so have two choices that I can think off.

    1. Dibond sign bent at the top about 6" to a right angle and left just to hang over the front of the unit.

    2. Magnetic panel stuck to surface.

Would the magnetic take the constant heat and would the vinyl stuck to it be affected in the long run?

Has anyone had any experience in this area!

could you not stick it to it with silicon Mike, used some hot temperature silicon stuff (£10 a tube) to stick brackets to oven door, even ordinary silicon can take a lot of heat.

Mike, mag panels can weld themselves to car bonnets quite quickly due to the heat so I would be very careful about using a magnetic panel. Could you put a slider onto the front of the machine using VHB tape and then just slide a dibond panel in when required???
