These days, similar materials are being used to enable complete buildings to be used as advertising space, opening up yet another market for super wide format digital printers. Building wraps have been slower to catch on in the UK, but as local planning authorities realise that such installations are more attractive than ugly looking building construction sites we will begin to see more of this type of work appearing in the near future. One such company that has buildings well under wraps is MACtac.

The company recently announced an additional see-through film for static glass decoration for buildings with its IMAGin JT 5920P construction. The film features a 2mm perforation which allows even more ambient light into wrapped buildings. MACtac’s JT 5920P construction joins its 1.5 mm perforation JT 5915P film which is used for mobile advertising on cars and buses.
