Mac OS Lion + OKI Printers
Since upgrading I can’t get any of my OKI printers to work properly
I have a C5450 that used to work but now it’s just giving me printing and buffering errors, I can get it to work fine by hooking it into a windows machine but that means i need to touch the manky windows setup :lol1:
Anyone else got any problems with printers and the new Mac OSX Lion?

There are loads of issues with drivers and software, best bet is to keep one machine running snow leopard and upgrade the rest to Lion.

Yeah i did that but my main machine is the one i upgraded 🙁

I was told last week that Apple now have more funds than the US goverment, I find this incredible, the only thing that is even more incredible is that they made that money selling products that are way overpriced and only do half the things that it’s competiters products do, just confirms my theory of what the i in front of there product names stands for!
Sorry this does not help in solving your problem with printing however you did answer that yourself, the windows pc works so your choice seems to be use a pc that does exactly what it says on the box or buy a decent ballpoint pen.

Being a mac user, i take offence to the last comment having used both windows and Mac’s for years, both very good machines but the mac just works! fair enough updates come out but how many years did it take after xp to get it right, even then the windows still look dated.
Wait till windows 8 comes out, have fun with that one.

John, Because of those issues with new operation systems, most of our Macs are still on leopard except one iMac which has Snow leopard, with the Imac we still have not sorted out the driver problems yet. We had to share our OKI C9650 with other Old MacPROs for printing. The lion looks great I will try it on the imac and see how it goes.
