I’ll have that somewhere Iain, may take me a while to search my backups for it. What year was it? I have most of the decals for the Lotus as I’m a bit of a fan of the 1981 JPS S2 and various other limited edition Lotus cars.

DeLorean comes a close 2nd though 😀

Will do. I think the Elite was in production from 1957 to 1964, then remodelled and on sale again 1974 to 1982. I’ve found the lotus logo for the 70’s version, and the Elite is just a bold font, very easy to vectorise. The 1950’s version is somewhat harder to get my hands on, on some models its a script, others it a bold non-serif font 😕 I’ll post them up when I get in the shop tomorrow anyway, you’ll have a collection of them for when he comes back to you 😀

it is an Elite 505 May 1978
Silver with 1/2 red interior
Built for Charles Folley, Mayfair London

As i said before it is a bit of a rarity

Said it was for the rear of the car.

I found the 1978 Elite, but no rear decals. The one you’ve posted CT looks right though, that was on the Elan as well I think. The only Elite specific decal I can find for the 1970’s version is a very bold font that is spaced out (ironic for the period) and coloured in a lime green.

Thanks guys (and Gals) but what im looking for goes on the rear wing

If you look at the web site in my previous post you can just about make it out on the side of the rear wing.

I told you it wasnt easy.. think i may have to photograph it and trace it into an image rather than use a font

Talk about an easy job for my first paying customer 😆

To answer your questions.. yes that is the car in question(horrible thing) and im not sure if that is logo i need
