  • Looking for Self Adhesive Paper suitable for Eco-solvent printing

Posted by AndrewReid on September 11, 2017 at 11:30 am

    Hello Guys,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a self adhesive paper product suitable for Eco-solvent printing? It needs to be a thin stock (like a standard bottle label). We use a product from Hexis, however it is too thick.

    Many thanks in advance.
    Andrew

Hi Andrew, the only type I’ve been able to find self adhesive is made by sihl. Problem is it’s 275gsm! I’ve found orafol 3164 Matt finish is good for labels. You can write on it no problem using a ball point pen

Cheers David, I feared that might have been the answer. I have looked high and low for something suitable. The Hexis product is around 100gsm (although I think it is thicker!) and even that is too thick for my client!

Hi, is the Hexis product you mention a paper or vinyl? Thanks
