hi guys, i run a roland bn-20 , i bought it with eco sol max 3 inks.

i mainly use it for t shirt transfers etc,

i had some issues at the start with the ink not being compatible with some media, the only one i seam to find works well and very well at that is Easy Print from Xpres, were i purchased the machine. its durable and after many washes the transfers are still totally fine, only problem i feel and have customers comenting is that it is quite thick. on searching for thinner vinyl i was told that none so far are compatible with eco sol max 3, which leads to my question.

is it possible to flush the printer and switch to eco sol max 2 ?

Try the c-print PU+ from Grafityp. We are printing on it, there profile works better than the generic heat press max 3 profile. Print quality isn’t the best be we are getting away with it up here for now. Also having a fair few problems with these inks.

Where you based Chris? I’ve got samples of other vinyls I jst haven’t had time to dry, print quality and durability is spot on , on the easy print, it’s just a bit thick on t shirts

We’re up the top of Scotland in Inverness. I would give Grafityp a call and get a sample. I’ll take a photo of the how the print comes out tomorrow when looking at it up close. We do a fair bit of digital prints of all sizes and I always tell guarantee my customer 50 minimum washes and never had a complaint.
