looking for a celtic themed logo for traditional pub?
I’m looking for ideas for a Celtic (hope I am using the right word here) pub sign. My client wants an a shamrock worked into the design and wants it to have an old world look. Do you have an pictures or website to direct me to? I open to suggestions also.

hi judy!
as an irish signwriter i would steer well clear of shamrocks!!! less is defineately more!! use a nice heavy font with subtle shading and maybe a very small celtic knot on either end hope this helps a bit

Thought I would share the design my client selected. It will be 3 dimensional. I am thinking of using black smalts in the background. Lettering and scroll work will be painted imitation gold unless I can talk them into gold leaf.
This more decorative design may be used in the interior decor.
This is the design for the sign.

On a side note, in this forum you will probably find that when you ask for a bit of help etc, if you can post up what you have come up with so far and add the file here, a few members will get their teeth into coming up with ideas or design suggestions for you, thats the way this forum works really 😉 😀 -
