looking for 3m product not sure if its a tape or vinyl?
I am looking for a 3M prduct but I dont really know what it is.
What I do know is that it is either vinyl with a very hi bond adhesive or it’s an adhesive laminate.
The only clue I have is it says 3M on the carrier paper which is light brown in colour and rolls up when you take it off and its self is quite thin compared to normal vinyl backing papers which is why I might think its a glue laminate.
Anyone any idaes as to which 3M product this could be.Thanx for any help

Hi, I take it you mean the motocross stuff? used in the thick motocross graphics. i just recently got 50 metres off a fellow sign maker who makes motocross graphics but i dont know where it comes from. I wouldn’t mind knowing myself!!!! Have you tried looking on the net for 3m products?

Hang on a minute, just looked inside the roll. This roll was purchased from a company called TECMAN, unfortunately no phone number!

Sounds like an adhesive transfer tape. The most commonly used is an all-purpose product called Scotch 467. There are others with different strengths and/or designed for different materials. 3M is of course not the only manufacturer of such products. You’ll find a local supplier to talk to under Tapes – Adhesive & Industrial in the Yellow Pages or at yell.com
