Hadn’t noticed the arrow in the FedEx logo before……….now can’t see anything else.

The white area between the e and x. I had never seen it before either – always thought it just looked as if it should be spaced out better.

😮 I’ve never noticed that either ………… now I can’t help but see it!!!!!!!
The logo I hate though is the new Group 4 Security one. 😕 It looks like GAS

Your kidding? I’ve thought the incorporation of the arrow was very clever. It was the first thing I saw when I got a fedex delivery a while back…
It would have cost a fortune though. Not as good as the London Olympic logo tho 🙄

This is a typical example of how negative space is as important to a sign as is the content.
I would put money on it that this was intentional.
This is why sometimes a sign has a "wrong feel" about it.
Subconsciously the viewer is seeing some awkward negative space between copy.
