• Logo help needed…

I’m still new to the sign group and was wondering if anyone would help to design a logo for my company, Football Heaven. If you would like an idea of what we are about you can have a look at our website on http://www.footballheaven.net I’ve had a number of attempts myself and seem to end up basing it on something I’ve seen already. I hope its not too cheeky asking this…

    Hey George,
Welcome to the site. You’ll get some good input on this kind of stuff if you show us your designs first, then we’ll get an idea of what you may be after. Have a look at Mikes section as he explains it better than me.

Hi George and welcome to the site!

Living in Pitcaple, you are very close to myself (Kemnay).

I’m sure we will all try to help you get this logo going. Describe what you would like it to show and portray. have a go yourself and post it on here for everyone to have a look at…

    All the best

Sorry about the lack of info provided, I’ll try to fill some gaps. I bought a plotter cutter (Graphtec) about a year ago to allow me to do logos, etc for football team kits, mostly variations of different fonts. I purchased Signgo software which I am getting better at using.

I would like a logo to use on stationery, put on a van, maybe use on football shirts in it was suitable. I’ve been trying to use the initials FH in or around a ball but not happy with what I’ve done. The two colours I would prefer is probably green and black but this is why I’ve posted on the board, maybe a neutral approach is required. I’ve been using the logo at the top of our homepage at the moment, the one with the ball at one side.

Although I can supply football kits, our main business is football memorabilia. Hopefully I can make better use of the cutter in the future though.

I have done a couple of pick-ups and vans but I have a lot to learn with fitting, etc. Maybe I could spy on you sometime Gavin! I find that once you get into doing a job you want to do more…
