are you both logging on at the same time with the same name and password? not sure if that will work.

Never had the problem before. I just logged out to see if he could log in but no, that didn’t work 🙁

BUTwhen I tried to log back on, it wouldn’t let me 🙁

The only way I have got back online is to follow the link to this from my email account.

Another thing is when rob keys in the username and checks the line "forgotten password" to see if that will help, it says my email address is not been recognised 😕

im honestly not sure what the problem is mate, but i can say i havent heard of it before. i have 2 computers running at once at home and im logged in on both at one time. i can even start my laptop up downstairs and login while the other two are running…
it "might" be a security setting on your firewall or something… try turning it off on both comps for a few moments and try to login…

When i used to run my own forum, I had a similar problem/ i had users like you not being able to log in or it wold take a couple of login attempts, so i shearched hundreds of support threads.

If it was the same as i had you have to replace a file within PHPBB or they tell you to delete cookies in your comp from USKB and start again

, but then again i had around 20 users not being able to login or logging in a couple of times before there logged in.

Have recently changed username but not password.
When I say "forgotten password" and enter my email address, i’m told that my
username doesn’t match my email 😥

I chenged my email in my profile which knocked my account all to pot and i had to email rob to sort it which he done. Nice one Rob

I mean it though… your account does not exist. i havent a clue why or how this has happened, but it has. obviously this "might" be why you are getting access problems…
What i would advise is, creat a new account called "Rob Lowery"
i will activate this right away until i sort out whats happening with the other account. if the other account cant be fixed ill just edit the name slightly so the existing posts still show as you making them with your avatar picture etc in place. and will then alter robs account to read Dave and rob lowery again… "hope that made sense?" 😕

The ‘&’ sign may play havok with mySQL search routines, so that might be be a bug in phpBB
