Hi Rob (see how bored I am, checking replies already!) We are in Cala en Bosh,staying in the Viva Menorca. The weather has been dull and overcast, a bit windy, but still warm. We only arrived late yesterday evening, so 1st full day.
The food and the people are wonderful though, really glad to be here, although Spain would´nt normally be my 1st choice.

You lucky thing Lorraine! I really like Menorca, been a few times now. Try and get a boat trip around the harbour while you’re there.

Also if you have a car and the weather is bad where you are you can chase the sun as it’ s often nice on the other side of the island and only a short drive away.

menorca isn’t one of my first choices either but its a short flight and that’s what swung it for me.. :lol1:
i didn’t visit that part of the island when i was there but i think it has the big water park near by.
son bou is a nice part also… great big beach. 😀
mahon has tons of shops so if you fancy renting a car, stop by there for shopping spree….
i was in Arenal d’en Castell… had a great beach, bar restaurants etc
no matter what part you go to its bloody expensive… that’s my second time there and prices have rocketed since i was first there….

son bou seems reasonable considering the other areas but still expensive.

Hi Lorraine

We were in Cala’n Bosch a couple of weeks ago. Nice relaxing break. We were in the Casa del Lago overlooking the marina.

Lots of places to eat & drink as I expect you’ve found. We liked the Cafe Balear, more expensive than some but very nice. A lot of locals seemed to eat there which is probably a good sign.

If you go to Mahon harbour check out the huge expensive motor yachts with their names in Brush Script !
