Locator fixings
Posted by Simon Clayton on March 5, 2004 at 2:35 pmHi All,
I’m in need of a supplier of locator fixings…a good while back I ordered a box load, which has lasted forever.
I’m now running low.. but cannot remember where I got them.. it wasn’t “Snapfix”Any help would be great
Thanks

I didn’t know amari did them ! I get mine from either Cherwell Sign Supplies or Spandex (both stock different types) but Cherwell do black ones which spandex don’t.

yep, i buy mine from amaro also. i used to buy them from europoint but i felt the plastic was a little soft. well not soft, unsure how to explain.
well lets say if i clip a letter into place it snaps tight and is very hard to remove. when i used the europoint ones it snapped in ok but could be removed much easier even though it had a really good bite.
this may come in handy at times for cleaning interior letters but when kids are about i think not. 😕 -

Amari are good for most things, we get our locators from them.

Best place i’ve found for locators, the same type that rob shows in his metal letter/locator demo, is from lichfield plastics, these are the injection moulders that supply most of the suppliers
i’ve got contact details if anybody wants them
