Anyone had any dealings with this company? (not too sure what name they’re using)
I got their details whilst at SignUK and thought I’d give them a try. I gave them an order on 22 September for 10 embroidered polo shirts. I’m still waiting……….. 👿 When they told me they wouldn’t be ready before I went on holiday on 8th October, I gave them my customers address for delivery of the shirts, whilst all paperwork would come directly to me. But when i got back last week I discovered that they hadn’t got them on 13th as promised. I called them last wednesday and asked what was going on only to be told that the items I’d ordered had been out of stock. But why during the 14 days I’d been emailing and calling back and forth before I went on holiday, did they not know that and tell me? If so, why would it take a month to get 10 shirts????? 😕
Anyway last wednesday they apologised for the delay and told me the new production date had been set for last thursday with delivery guaranteed by friday ………….. guess what…………. they didn’t arrive. So I called again this morning and was told ‘Oh, your production date is today, with delivery tomorrow’ 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿
I’m not convinced they will be here tomorrow despite me telling him how disappointed, angry and unimpressed I’ve been with their service so far.

Oh ……… they’ve had full cleared payment for the last 4 weeks too. They required that before they could set my original ‘production date’!!!!!!!

    Hi Marcella

I also found them at Sign UK, seemed like nice guys, and my 1st order went well……

I recently had an order in for 6 polo shirts, standard colour, with arial bold text of 3 words in a straight line-hardly rocket science.
They say they didn’t get my 1st email, when I chased them up, so sent another, which they received, production date was set for 10 days hence, I sent a BACS transfer, all well. I then got an email, they couldn’t open the file. Sent another format, 2 days after production date said they still couldn’t open file.
I then lost it, and told them to cancel the order and refund my bank account. 2 days later the shirts turned up by courier. (No refund).

All that hassle for 3 simple words which they could have set up themselves.

If anyone knows of a good supplier of small quantities of embroidery, I’m looking for one………….

strange that Lorraine ……….. they said they didn’t receive my first 2 emails either!!!!!!!

I doubt very much I’ll be using them again. I feel I’ve been lied to from the start. 😕

I tried Blue Rock as well after seeing them at the show, ordered 36 polo shirts and waited for a pro-forma…none came and delivery date came and went. 👿
I then placed an order with Sovereign Manufacturing on 0161 449 5222
and received the embroidered shirts within a week. 😀

OK ………… looks like they’re a company to avoid in future, seems that’s how they do business.
Unless anyone from Blue Rock is reading this and can give us all an explanation?

Dave- I know who I’ll go to next time, I’ll keep Sovereigns number.

They recently joined forces with Ralawise, one of the sales people was telling me, but I would have thought that should improve them, not make them worse.

First couple of Orders were fine.
The last one for a 1 off – with a view to a 200 order took 4 weeks and me chassing.

Just when I thought I had a reliably source.

There is a company just 5 minutes from us in Dumbarton who we have found to be very good. Let me know if you want details.

I am pretty sure that I was speaking to the same guys who took my 1st order, and they kept on about providing a good service etc, but then failed to miserably.
I hope for their sakes that it is just teething problems, but to take your money, line up the job for 10 days hence, and only attempt to open the file on the 10th day is ridiculous. You then get put to the back of the queue again. NOT great or even good, in my opinion.

    OK ………..now I’m really pi**ed off!

they just phoned me and said they don’t have artwork!!!!!!!!! 😮 Deja Vu Lorraine eh!!!!!!!!!
I told them to cancel and refund but I was told the production guy was ready and waiting to do them right now and will post today!!!!!! So I’ve forwarded the original email with the artwork from the 19th September!!!!!

If they’re not here tomorrow morning, it’s cancelled.

    hello guys,

I’ve had exactly the same from Bluerock. I’ve placed four orders of various sizes now and none of them have arrived on time or fully correct. One job in particular was for a company launch and there was to be photographers from Max Power and Fast and Modified in attendance, so obviously logo’d shirts were important. Given the previous problems, I phoned almost daily for two weeks to be assured all was well. On the due date, no courier, so I called to be told the guy I had been dealing with (Andy) was on holiday and there was no record of any production. Turns out they hadn’t even been started although I was assured the day before that all was well. I have ordered since then, but still mistakes have been made. I have spoken with the owner ( steve ) who has invited me to deal with him direct to ensure no further problems.
Thing is, when the stuff does arrive it is decent quality for the money. I just don’t know of any other companies who are prepared to supply short runs for that sort of money. Would be very interested in any details of anyone else who does though.

Well I’ll let you know if my delivery arrives tomorrow. It’s been Andy i’ve been dealing and he’s just assured me 2 minutes ago that my order has been sent.
    Fingers crossed 🙄

If the quality is good it’s shame then that their service is letting them down.

When my 2nd order eventually arrived my customer made a point of phoning me to say the polo’s (Blue Rocks own label) were the best he’d ever had. I sincerely hope they are able to read this thread and put things right.

Well, just to give you all an update. The polos arrived at 11.30am by courier this morning. They do look good, nice neat work. 😀

Just a pity it took from 19th September to 31st October to get them….. 😕

If they give themselves a kick up the behind and get themselves a bit more organised I’m sure they would be winning loads more customers. But as it stands, they’re too slow and disorganised at the minute.

I don’t think they had any idea how much work they would pick up from a sign show. Surely they should have worked out that the first thing that most businesses want is a sign and when we tell our new customers we can supply badges, nameplates and even embroidered workwear to help them in their new venture then the work will pour in. They need to get themselves organised and SOON or else they will have a really bad name and nobody will want to deal with them.

    Hi All,
I use an embroidering company and they have never let me down. They are based in Newcastle and are called Tots to Teams, they supply loads of school work. Tel: 0191 2715454 ask for Dave and say John from Blade recommended them.
    Cheers John

Really hope they have got their act together, last time I spoke to them, they were going to implement some changes, but have been loathed to commit to buying from them.
Thing is , their stuff is good and in light of their no set up policy, they will be sitting on a very lucrative business I would have thought provided they can produce the goods.
Maybe time time to give them another try. :wedgey:

Just thought I would revive this old thread to update it.

I emailed Lizard with an order on Monday for polo shirts and fleeces. Received the order on Wednesday! 😀 One item was incorrect and I emailed them and told them ……….. their error, so the replacement was made up and posted up immediately and received yesterday!!!!! 😀
    Top Service.

I am pleased to say that their previous problems seem to have been resolved.
