Liquid Laminate – Recommendations please?
Can anyone suggest a good liquid laminate? Spray on preferably. I’ve heard some horror stories about removing app tape and the print comes off with it. Not sure if that was with eco inks though? Got a cadet. So any advice would be great. Cheers

Matt, I don’t do digital printing myself so can’t really recommend anyone but there have been several posts about it so a search might help, I do remember frog juice being mentioned and I know Lyson do a spray gloss and matt laminate but as I said before can’t comment on their use.

I have used spray laminates in the past and in everycase they came off with masking tape when I hinged them. 😥 They worked out pretty expensive too from memory
Finished up using graphicoat 2 pac system from techink. has to be applied with a pad, but worked well with no complaints.

Cheers becky and shane. Becky have’nt you got a cadet too ? What do you think. The vehicle is a swb sprinter. So print is reasonably long. Do you ever leave prints unlaminated ? If so have you ever had complaints or do you give the customer a disclaimer ? Just another thought

never leave to chance or it`ll come back and bite you in the ass.
better to spend another 10 mins extra laminating, than 1 hrs reprinting and then laminating later down the line.

i buy from grapityp.
apply with a painters pad.

we used to use clearshield, but had so many problems with dust particles settling in it. No matter what we used to apply it, it always looked a bit dodgy aswell ! We went for buying a laminator in the end, and havent looked back !

We also use the spray laminate … at present we are using Frogjuice from Victory, been using it for yonks now … never had any problems?! I assume its just the same as the graphityp spray. You shouldnt get any probs with Graphityps stuff 😉
