• Lightbox Question

    Hi All,

    Need some help on this one a new customer has come to me and asked me to replace
    the lightbox opaque panel does anyone know which system has been used?

    Its a bit of a travel to fit so need to get it right i have the dimensions of the visible sign just wondered how much extra panel goes into frame which is not seen?

    Cut it oversize and trim to suit on site with a router.

    looks like SMP`s front loading, we had one the other week. ( Ashbys now)

    55mm of the depth same off the length 15 mm flat hainging rail on the back level at the top.
    25mm in the beading so 25mm not seen all round

    Denise is correct i think… its the front loading bull nose system by SMP, which as denise says has been bought over by Ashby. Ashby have continued with SMP’s product range i beleive.

    its a rollerbead box formally by SMP take off 55mm of the length and the depth unless Ashbys tell you otherwise 😉

    I spoke to ashby and they don’t think it is one of theres?

    No Probs Matt,
    i can provide a full cutting guide for all of SMP,s former product range Frames, Lightboxes etc
    i ought to know what they are since i created the guide and i worked at SMP for 18 years.
    im retired now happily 😛
