Light Box Price Check
Just to check my sanity, I have just quoted £1400 for a light box measuring 4320x1160mm and have just been asked to match or beat another quote of £960. Given Im buying this in for just under £1000 is my price unreasonable or is it way off for a high value product like this?

Never been involved with light boxes but adding £400 to sell on isn’t that much profit 40%, maybe your supplier isn’t giving you a good price to start off with?

Should have added thats with 5mm opal acrylic panels and cut vinyl applied ready to fit……

Where are you getting the box quote from, I could be wrong but I recall that size being about £500 from northern sign cases, including box, gear trays and the acrylic, powder coating extra.Cheers

Got the quote from Applelec Signs:
£940 with standard electrics, fully finished, flood coated cut vinyl
£1046 with high frequency electrics as above.Now thinking the vinyl work is bumping the price up quite a bit. Only having a 610mm cutter, wider work has to be sub’ed out

I would try another couple of suppliers just to make sure the quote you have is competitive. Can’t comment on current prices and never bought them in complete but it does seem a bit on the high side.
